Frequently Asked Questions About Clinics

What is the difference between Auditor+ and Auditor Registration?

Auditor+ folks get access to the PRE-CLINIC ONLINE COURSE, like the Participants get.

This is a great way to enhance your experience as you can study the clinic before the clinic, and know what you are seeing when you are seeing it.

Sometimes lunch is catered for Auditor+ folks too, if these tickets sell out at your clinic.

What is the Participant ticket?

Participants attend the clinic with their horse and take an active part in the clinic.

Normally, these places are called "Rider" places. But due to the fact that EH warmly supports horses who are non-ridden to Participate, we do not use Rider to describe them. We use the term Participate instead to welcome a variety of horses and horse people to partake.

After registration, all horses are assessed by our team to double check suitability, health and well-being prior to the clinic.

Participants are offered a pre-clinic online course and post clinic coaching support, and a +1 ticket. Participant +1, allows Participants to attend with a friend or family member who can help them care for their horse, film the clinic, take notes on their behalf, and generally ensure each Participant has the support they need to get the most they can out of the clinic.

Is there any benefit to attending both days?

Yes. Day 1 and Day 2 are different days. We recommend attending both days if you can, to get a fully rounded experience! We offer 10% discount for those who purchase auditing tickets for both days.

What is the Clinic Schedule, how is the day constructed?

We begin punctually at 9am. A lunch break is from 11-1pm. Afternoon will finish with the horses around 3-4pm, and a Q&A is held at the end of the clinic. The Q&A can be 10 minutes or over an hour, depending on the community that attends.

Why do we sign a waiver that confirms our identity and health insurance?

Your safety is our number 1 priority. During the clinic, horses are often close to the auditors and in some locations, without a barrier. Were you to experience a medical emergency, due or not to the horses, we need to ensure that we can arrange immediate care for you without delay or disruption. Some countries have public health insurance, and proof you are registered with it is sufficient on the waiver. Some countries will necessitate private health insurance that you will need to prove on the waiver.

For the safety and well-being of Lockie and all in attendance, we ask all persons attending to confirm their identity with the number of an official identity document of some type. This can be drivers license, national identity card, fiscal number, etc. In Spain, your NIE or NIF is enough, in Europe, your local equivalent to National Identity Number.

All your data is handled by a secure encrypted database, and is pursuant to the EU GDPR, the strictest data protection laws internationally. We are not permitted to sell, use or trade your personal information at any level. We use this information simply to confirm your identity to secure the safety of our event.

We ask all registrants to a clinic to sign their waiver prior to confirming their registration so that everyone is comfortable with formalities.
