12 Week Group Coaching Program in Emotional Horsemanship

15 September - 15 December 2026

There comes a point in every horse person's journey where slowing down is no longer the answer.

You have done the work. You have learned to listen, become quieter, and developed a deeper level of observation. Your horse trusts you, and you trust your horse.

The relationship feels safe, grounded, and thoughtful.

And then something subtle begins to happen, your horsemanship begins to feel worse, become less effective and connected.

Not because anything is wrong, but because neither of you knows what comes next.

The movement slows, the sessions become repetitive, and the sense of direction begins to fade.

This is the moment I see more than any other. Horse people who have stepped away from force, intimidation, and shortcuts, but who now find themselves unsure how to create training that is alive, progressive, and deeply engaging for both themselves and their horse.

Homecoming 4.0, is here to resolve this problem. The solution?

Better sequencing and effective training plans.

THE GREAT SLOW DOWN; the antidote to fast, escalated training that chews horses up and spits them out.
The problem is, when we stay too long inside the Slow Down, we get too low.

The horse becomes quieter, sometimes to the point of stillness. The training becomes more cautious, segmented, stilted, careful not to disrupt what has been built... or repaired.

The training loses its sense of flow, and the relationship begins to lose some of its vitality.

This is where Homecoming 4.0 FREE & FORWARD begins.

Not by going backwards or returning to faster, louder methods, but by learning how to move forwards again, together.

SEQUENCING; THE MODERN HORSE PERSONS BLINDSPOT

AND OUR FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY TO DEVELOP SEQUENCING ETHICALLY AND INDIVIDUALLY

Over twelve weeks we will explore one of the least taught skills in modern horsemanship, which is sequencing. Not techniques, not isolated exercises, and not tricks, but sequencing.

The ability to arrive with your horse today, see what is in front of you, and build a training session that makes sense.

A session that develops your horse physically, emotionally, and mentally. A session that has direction, that builds into tomorrow, and that quietly shapes the horse you will have a year from now.

Most horse people know dozens of techniques, but very few know how to weave them together. Professionals do this every day. They assess the horse in front of them and create something that fits that moment.

Private horse people are too often handed recipes. Do this, then this, repeat it three times, and move on to the next exercise. Recipes help us begin, but eventually we need to become cooks. People who understand the ingredients well enough to create something meaningful without needing someone else to tell us what comes next.

Throughout this program we will also explore what happens after healing, because healing was never supposed to become our entire identity. It was meant to create the conditions for something more.

We will explore how to build effective training plans that evolve with the horse, how to sequence groundwork and riding so every session has purpose, and how to recognise when your horse is ready for more challenge rather than more reassurance. We will look at developing enthusiasm without chaos or force, building collection, strength, and fitness without coercion, and creating horses that participate instead of simply comply.

You will learn how to think like a trainer rather than simply perform techniques, and how to create sessions that are fluid, creative, and genuinely enjoyable for both horse and human.

This program is for horse people who already understand that kindness matters. Now it is time to discover what kindness can build.

Because the goal was never simply to create calm horses. The goal was to create horses that feel safe enough to become expressive, curious, athletic, strong, playful, confident, and enthusiastic.

The future of Emotional Horsemanship is not needlessly slower.

It is freer, more alive, and more capable.

It is horse people who know how to create thoughtful, effective training that develops soundness, confidence, and genuine partnership over a lifetime.

If you have found yourself asking what comes after all this healing, this program was built for you.
